Amityville Horror!
Amityville Horror was one of my favorite ghost movies. However, after much research I have realized just how much of it was Hollywood over playing it. However, I can’t deny the fact that there was a haunting in that house. If you’re interested in the true story behind the Amityville House then let me put this simply. It’s your typical haunted house with a very sad history. For those of you unfamiliar with Amityville house, allow me to explain. Amityville house was once the home of the DeFeo family. A large family who was all murdered in their sleep one night by their eldest son. A family later moves into the house and notices strange things. Such as cold spots around the house. The sounds of footsteps when all the children were sleeping. Beds shaking and being suddenly woken up in the middle of the night. I hope to one day visit this house, however I am not sure I there are people still currently living there or not. For the full story check out this site.! Jhttp://www.amityvillefiles.com

Pantry Ghost; REAl? Or FAKE?
There has been much discussion on this video. You can find responses all over YouTube, discussion boards and blog entries. Well here is one more to add to the list. This is the story of a man who discovered a ghost in his pantry. It is said he has moved out since this date, however whether it was due to paranormal activity or not, we may never be sure. The original video is just the man setting up a camera every night when he first realizes there is something fishy about his panty. The next video is the same man. However, he decides to investigate further. Therefore stands with his video camera late into the night. This is what he witnessed. This video here is of a skeptic visiting the man’s house, in hope of proving the ghost fake. Will not be so fake after this experience, I can promise that. What do you think?! Real? Or another YouTube Fake?

Chinese Ghost Stories

At work, I work with three Chinese men. I’m currently dating a Chinese man as well. Being surrounded by these men almost every day, I learn so much about their superstitions and ghosts stories.
For instance, pregnant women apparently are more likely to see spirits or ghosts since the ghost will try to recarnate as the child.
If you have trees outside you window, where the bark looks as if it forms a face. Place a sword above your window as protection, to keep those spirits out.
Or today, when I awoke with my eye closed shut from some sort of infection, my friend Kai at work says "Oh, well a ghost clearly sat on your eye when you were sleeping." I laughed, only to realize shortly after, he was dead serious.
Chinese Ghost stories are some of my all time favorite tales. I love hearing them, and learning on those, not so busy days at work. I have learnt not to go straight home after a funeral, or else the ghosts of the dead will follow you home. Or, mirrors at a funeral must be hidden; a person who sees the reflection of the coffin will have a death in his/her family.
For haunted places within China, I asked one of the other Chinese friends at work, Eric, which is the most haunted place in all of China. To which he answered, "The Great Wall Of China." The lives of the thousands of men, who died building that wall, haunt its walk ways.
Well, I thought you would enjoy a small update for now. Beware everyone, remember not to clip your toe nails at night, for the Chinese say by doing so, you will be visited by a ghost. That is... unless you want to be visited by one..

Winchester Mystery House

1884 a widow Sarah L. Winchester constructed a Victorian mansion.
This wasn't any ordinary mansion, however. Oh no, this mansion would be a mystery house, with 160 rooms, 47 gas fireplaces, 6 kitchens, 52 skylights stair ways leading to the ceiling, doors leading to brick walls, doors leading the outside, where one could easy fall, and much much more.
Why did Sarah L. Winchester build such a strange and unique building? One reason, the ghosts of the dead told her to. You see, Sarah's husband had died, along with her daughter, so she sought guidance from physics. The physics explained to her, her family was under a curse, and she was to build a house for the spirits. If she ever was to stop building this house, she would die. The total cost of the house was $5,500,000.
Sarah died 38 years after the start of her house.
Was she crazy? Or was there really a curse upon her family?

How to Use A Ouija Board

It is said that Ouija boards can open portals to the other world. As a fan of ghost stories and show I have heard my fair share of terrible things which come from Ouija boards.
-A family of four being chased out of their home, from some sort of unknown force, welcomed in from using the board.
-Friends waking up in the middle of the night suddenly only to see something at the food of their bed.
Are these boards dangerous?
This is a question I have been asking myself for years. My mother, ever since I was young insisted that I never touch one. She is a strong believer that these simple looking tools can open portals into the world of unknown. Being a fan of ghosts, I couldn’t help but try out one at my friend’s house.
We managed to connect to a spirit named Bill. A rather humorous spirit who kept spelling out “Ha Ha Ha Ha” whenever we would ask a silly question.
We have not tried to communicate with a spirit since, however many strange things have occurred at her house since. Strange orbs in photographs, radios turning off and on, alarms changing time to late at night, causing the whole house to awake.
My friends seem to be one of the luckier ones. So I will warn you. If you are planning on using an Ouija board, please respect it, and insure you ask for only positive energies to communicate with you.
How to use one
-You need at least two people. This is for your own safety. You can do it alone, however it can be dangerous.
-Use your Ouija board at night, it is said there is less distractions in the atmosphere so you can get a clearer readings
- Create some atmosphere for example turn off the lights, light some candles or light some incense would do nicely. Also turn off the TV and have no music playing.
-Have you and your partner sit face to face with your knees touching and the board upon your laps.
-Everyone can ask questions, but have one person to ask the board formally the questions.
-Now place your fingers on the planchette lightly. Don’t have your elbows resting on anything.
- To warm up move the planchette in a circle around the board.
-****Please at this point be sure to ask for only positive energies to communicate with you and negative energies are not welcome.
-Try to be patient; it takes a few moments for the board to warm up and the energies to start flowing. And when asking questions be polite, don’t ask stupid questions, such as, when you will die. It might say 5 months and then you worrying for no reason for 5 months.
- Don’t ask for physical signs, this can be dangerous especially if it’s a negative energy.
- Don’t believe everything the board tells you. It’s not a guarantee that it’s telling you the whole truth.
-It is also very important to say goodbye before removing you hands. My friends and I forgot to do this part and believe there is a portal with in her basement, letting spirits come and go.
Tips
-Have someone write down the answers. Sometimes they will be spelling out things quickly and it will be hard to keep up. Have a third party write it down.
-Playing sober will give you better results
-Maintain control. If the board starts giving you rube vulgar obscene responses, break it off immediately by moving it to the goodbye. The last thing you need is a negative energy within your home.

Ireland Ghosts
Our world is full of ghosts of the dead. It is known that ghosts are attracted to place with the felt most attached to in their living life. It could have been a negative energy or a place they just loved to spend their afternoons.
When I was in Ireland I had just enough time to take the Dublin Ghost Bus tour on my last night. It was a little cheesy especially when you know a lot about ghosts. The one thing I found very interesting, however was the orbs we were able to capture in my photos. Other then the Dublin jail I had never caught any orbs before on my camera.
Take a look at the picture above. Apparently, orbs are sprits. They can appear on camera as just on orb since it takes little energy to do so. Ghost who form an actually body in ghosts have a very strong energy.
This photo was taking at the most haunted place in Dublin, St. Michan’s Church.
There was two stories my tour guide told me, which interested me about this place.
One.
There was an Irish woman who had a baby out of wedlock. The father of her baby stole the baby from here and gave him to the church. It is said that the Irish women wanders the outside of the church, in hope of finding her baby.
When on the tour, one of the girls had snapped a shot of what looked like a women dressed in green hunched over on the steps crying. It wasn’t clear, however you could see it.
Two.
The second story was of a woman who married the man of her dreams. However, the night after the wedding the woman fell into a coma. However, at this time people assumed them to be dead. They where to bury the women at the church. The night before the put her within the earth, the caretaker of the church discovered her open casket. He also noticed the golden ring upon her wedding finger. Being greedy he tried to pull the ring off. However, it would not come off. So he took out a knife and began to cut at her finger. This pulled the women out of the coma and she sat up screaming.
When she went find her husband he didn’t believe it was her and refused to see her. It’s said she still haunts the church, after she actually died. She was buried there, however with bell tied to her finger, in case she woke up.
